Pencak Silat
Panjak means self-defense and the word "silat" means "total art", meaning "self-defense" This sport was originally a martial art of the Malayu people. In Southeast Asia, including Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, Brunei and areas in the southern border provinces of Thailand It is also known as Sila, Dika, or Bodika. It is a martial art with bare hands and bare feet, emphasizing the beautiful style of movement. The dance position originated from a bouquet of bromores in a vortex.
